New Life...

For those of you who do not know already, the Irbys are expecting a little Irby to join soon! Baby number 3 (or should I say 4 since God took Little One to be with Him?) should arrive around October 19 in Budapest, Hungary. We have found a hospital there who takes our insurance, which is a huge relief. We are so excited to welcome this newbie to the Irby family! Israel and Elijah are excited...they can tell you themselves:

So cute! We are to thankful to have all of you who have prayed and supported us these past few months. And for those of you going through pregnancy loss, I can honestly say that God is faithful to redeem the pain and loss you are experiencing. When you are going through it it feels like you will never see the light at the end, but even the dark is not dark to God and He is with you. I never felt Him leave.

Josh's mom will come for a visit on Tuesday May 3 and will be with us for 2 weeks. We are grateful when family and friends come see where we live and we can spend time with them. This is Dea's first time in Sarajevo...so exciting!

Will update more later...

  2. Hi

I hope you don't mind me commenting but I couldn't see an email address. We are ex pats living in Sarajevo too and I noticed you said your daughter goes to ballet. Could I be cheeky and ask where? My daughter, who is four, is desperate to resume ballet and I've had absolutely no luck tracking down classes for her.

Many thanks for your assistance (and congrats on the new baby on the way!)

  3. Kathryn: The doctor thinks it's a girl...about 85% sure! But Josh's brother in law Brian (who is rarely wrong) thinks it's a boy....we'l find out for sure next week! (or as sure as we can find out!)

Clare: I would love to meet you! Israel takes ballet at the Sarajevo cultural center on Ferhajdija on the street Jelica between the stores Sisely and Mango. They will have their recital on Tuesday night but the teacher mentioned they might hold classes over the summer. In that case, we will take the summer off. We may or may not return, Israel seems like she is ready to be done...we'll see in Sept. The best way to find out more info is go to by the cultural center and just ask. Let me know if you need more info!

  4. Hi again!

I did reply to your post some time back but my comment never appeared and I'd hate for you to think I hadn't responded after you helped us out with ballet information. It may be that it was moderated but equally perhaps the internet ate it so I thought I'd drop you a quick reply again to say thank you and I'll look into ballet come September.

Of course we'd love to meet too and Emma is always looking for English speaking playmates. If you'd like to get in touch, my email is clarehc@gmail.com

    All the best

    Clare
